I am moving on the 11th June. Have paid and confirmation of service was received.
I was advised prior to my move that moving material (boxes, bubble wrap etc.) would arrive today Saturday 28th May before 12pm. As they hadn't arrived I tried phoning multiple times with no answer. I followed up again after 2pm, and was advised that the material was dispatched by courier and would arrive prior to 4pm. It is now 4:30pm and again no delivery. I have phoned and the phone is being disconnected after one ring.

I have wasted my day waiting for a delivery and am very disappointed at the customer service.

Service cost: £455

We were provided with an excellent service from some really fit and motivated guys. We had a team of three on the day of the move and they all worked so hard all day. We had a couple of times that were really expensive and also a few that were not so expensive but had a really sentimental value which we paid for JamVans to pack. They really did take extra care. I think that this firm have something really good going here. We were really pleased with the service overall. We just couldn't fault them. Even the neighbors commented on how well they worked.

Would strongly recommend using JamVans, the guys on the day did a fantastic job and that planning that the surveyor put into the move was very thorough.

Our move was carried out over two days and we did the packing ourselves, however we were provided with the boxes and packaging materials long in advance of our move. The guys in the phone were also helpful if we had any queries on packing, however if I was to move again, I would probably go with the packing service. Although it costs more, it did take us a very long time and the few bits that the guys packed up for us on the day was packed a lot better and faster.

JamVans provided an excellent service from start to finish with our move in May 2017 (this year). The surveyor was very careful to make sure he was accurate with his quote and he got the quote over to is the same day which was handy. The team on the day of the move were great and very friendly. We actually enjoyed our move day thanks to the team on the day, throughout the whole loving process with JamVans we found the office staff really helpful and as a result would strongly recommend. A* service all around, thank you!

I am revising the review left below. After posting it, I was contacted by customer service at Jamvans. The person with whom I spoke listened carefully to my description of what had occurred and immediately agreed that the contents of the bag should be replaced at Jamvans expense. He promptly has followed through with this. He explained that the person with whom we had been in contact previously had been away for a 2 week vacation and that perhaps that was why we had not had further followup. Given that this was really my only issue with Jamvans, I am now satisfied with their service and can give them a 5 star rating.

Dan and Joe were both extremely polite, really friendly, and made the move an almost fun task (it should really be stressful, boring and annoying!)

They were really good natured and went above and beyond being professional. A few examples in no particular order:

1. Popped to Tescos to buy a drink (after a solid 3 hours of heavy lifting!!) and went out of his way to offer to buy me (and his colleague) one too while I was helping his colleague with moving other boxes. This was really appreciated and more than anything is just good manners.

2. Both approached the day with an upbeat and positive attitude from the word go: This really helped the day go better because I had been dreading having to deal with the move all week. But approaching it all in this way took away that burden. Nothing was too big a deal and every task was done quickly, professionally and with a positive attitude.

3. Once they had done all the heavy lifting over to the new flat, they each asked me individually whether I wanted them to do further work by moving the heavy pieces around to more desirable places (even though they had already placed them in pretty logical places without me asking). Although this wasn't necessary, it was appreciated.
I think they even asked me a third time a little while later. Again this just creates such a good impression. I imagine if I was in their position I'd probably just want to finish the job and start my weekend as soon as possible!

4. They helped me put up a blind before they left. This wasn't something I had paid for or mentioned beforehand. These are two young guys already giving up their Saturday morning to do some hard graft, and they helped me without hesitation or complaint. They were even making jokes throughout, which I'm highlighting to illustrate how the whole job was done in an upbeat way.

Overall, I couldn't have asked for any more. I would 100% use JamVans again because of these two, and will recommend JV to any friends when they look to move.

I just think they deserve some recognition because I doubt I'm the only customer that they have done a great job for.

JamVans moved us from a 1bed to a 4bed flat in central London and they did a fantastic job. We used their packing service and their removal service which were both executed very professionally.

It made moving a stress-free experience. Our move went really well and we were very pleased with JamVans. The three guys were brilliant, really friendly and helpful and they did a great job. Our only feedback would be to label the boxes more precisely to make unpacking easier.

We would definitely use JamVans again and recommend them to others.

We have just completed our move with JamVans today and the service was second to none. Nothing broken, nothing damaged and the team were fantastic. We had a very large move, moving from a 5 bedroom property in London to Newcastle and the move was carried out over a total of 3 days with an additional 2 days for packing. The chap who came to estimate was very detailed and made us feel most at ease. They were not the cheapest company but we are so glad we used them as everything went seamlessly. If you are moving home JamVans are a must.

I got 4 quotes from removal firms for moving and storage.
2nd best value were JamVans.
I checked cheapest and JamVan reviews and cheapest were slated so chose JamVans.

I did not have high hopes of stress free move as everything else was stressful, BUT I can say they were ace in every way.
On day of move the guys that turned up were brilliant, professional and very courteous. Fantastic job.
I would recommend them to anyone. 5 stars!

An excellent experience throughout. Competent, likeable and professional team from Jamvans spent a day packing, a second day loading, and just 36 hours later all of our property arrived safely at our new French house. We much appreciated the flexibility around inventory, the attention to detail, and the thorough packing which meant all items were well protected. The team worked very hard, in spite of abnormal summer heat, remaining good natured and considered throughout. I would happily use Jamvans again. Thank you.

We have been delighted with every aspect of Jamvans removal service from the pre move packing to the move on the day from NW London to a flat in SW London. This was the hottest day in history in the area (25 July 2019) yet Josh and his team of four guys were magnificent, cheerfully carrying over 100 boxes and furniture up to the third floor ( no lift). Beds and a table were taken apart and carefully reassembled in situ. Liaison with the company has been excellent throughout the process and, so far, with most boxes opened, nothing has been broken or misplaced. This is a very professional company with skilled and courteous staff. Highly recommended .. and worth every penny to have everything packed.

We moved recently with JamVans and I cannot recommend them enough. From the initial visit to quote the move, right down to the when they collected the empty boxes post-move, the JamVans team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Very professional yet friendly, they handled the move with a great attitude. It was a long day and the movers had to work overtime (because we had much more stuff than everyone anticipated!), but they never stopped smiling and chatting. A seamless and positive experience, we were very happy settling into our new home.

I was going to pack everything myself initially however there quote for packing was pretty reasonable so we opted for this and I'm glad I did, they made it look so easy. The surveyor that they sent out was very efficient and helpful and the teams on the pack and move were kind and very hard working. We are really pleased that we selected these guys for our move, the men that turned up on the day were really cheerful and had a bounce in their step. For a job that requires such effort and hard work they really seemed to be really enjoying themselves whilst doing a very professional job at the same time. They kept us laughing all day and I just don't know how they did everything so fast, last time we moved ourselves and it was a nightmare. I am so glad that we used this company and I would like to extend out thanks online.

Four items broken (worth over £1,200) . Two lost items.
Paid for transit insurance but removal team provided false version of events, blaming us (client) and lying so that insurance doesn't pay us back anything to cover our loss.
Made complaint, asked to speak to senior management but have had no response or received any attempt at apology.
Unprofessional removals team who lied consistently throughout the day to manage our expectations. Avoid.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jamvans for anybody's house or flat move. The packing day went well and there were no breakages. The team on the move day, Dan and Eddie, were great. There could have been huge issues with parking in the road due to the fact that the Council were digging up the whole of the road, but they worked with the contractors and the loading of the vans went very smoothly and efficiently.
Parking at the other end also presented a few problems, but they approached it with humour and good sense and there were no delays. Everything was unloaded and reassembled in just over three hours. They worked very speedily and efficiently.
I liked the young and enthusiastic approach and friendly communication of this company.
I must also mention the surveyor, Shane. I had had three quotes, but he was the only one who had done his homework with respect to the house I was moving to and made some suggestions to help it run smoothly, which was greatly appreciated. It was his approach that finally clinched it for Jamvans; that and the reasonable price.

When I researched firms for my removal from Brussels to the UK, I was hesitant. The move was complex: involving three deliveries spanning several days. There were clearly a lot of fake reviews on so-called trusted sites, which added to my suspicions.
After much research, I chose Jamvans. They responded carefully and courteously to my many queries, they made helpful suggestions and were realistic in their estimates. Their quotation was credible and fair: not ridiculously cheap like the seduction tactics of some companies. Chirs and Ryan showed up exactly as planned and together took excellent care of everything. We had zero breakages. I highly recommend this firm and would like to thank Nikki for planning it all so well.
